Water
Water deeply and regularly during the first growing season to establish an extensive root system. Keep soil moist, but never soggy.
Prune
Immediately after the spring/early summer bloom cycle, before fall buds set, to shape the plant and encourage bushiness.Remove spent flowers and any dead, damaged, or overgrown branches by cutting just above a leaf node or to a main stem.
