Planting and Care Tips

Plant

Place the Taylor Juniper Tree in well-draining soil with the root ball level to the ground, spacing about 3–4 feet apart for a screen or 5–6 feet for individual accents.

Feed

Apply a slow-release balanced evergreen fertilizer in early spring to encourage strong, upright growth.

Water

Water deeply once or twice a week during the first growing season, then only during dry periods once established.

Prune

Lightly prune in late spring or early summer to maintain its slim columnar shape, removing any dead or wayward branches.

Exposure

Plant in full sun, ensuring 6–8 hours of direct sunlight each day for dense foliage and healthy growth.
