Muhlenbergia capillaris 'White Cloud'
Fluffy, white clouds dance in the breeze over the finely textured green grass of the White Cloud Muhly Grass. The airy white plumes grace the landscape in fall. White Cloud is slightly bigger, more upright, and blooms a bit later than his sister, Pink Muhly Grass, but, boy, do these 2 make a stunning pair in the landscape.

Planting and Care Tips
Plant
The ideal times to plant are during the spring or early fall. In the fall, be sure to plant at least one month before the first expected frost to give the roots enough time to establish themselves.
Feed
Lightly fertilize new plants in the first spring to support vigorous growth.
Water
Water weekly during the first growing season, providing enough moisture to keep the root ball moist but not soggy. Once established, the grass is very drought-tolerant and requires little supplemental watering. Water occasionally during periods of extreme or prolonged heat. Always ensure the soil is well-drained, as muhly grass is sensitive to consistently wet or waterlogged conditions.
Prune
The best time to prune is in late winter or early spring, just before new growth appears. Cut the foliage back to a height of 3 to 6 inches above the ground.
Exposure
Full Sun, Partial Sun
